FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is applicable for the recovery of the occlusal surface of grinding teeth. Prepared silicone pickup impressions are used to make a set of diagnostic and working models of upper and lower jaws to be plastered into an articulator adjusted individually with using a face bow and axiography findings. That is followed by wax-up of the teeth to be restored. Occlusal contacts are established considering the level of an occlusal cavity. The contacts are examined using articulation paper having a thickness of 8 mcm and master articulation foil of a thickness of 12 mcm. An optical impression is made by the prepared wax-up structure. A computer program is used to re-model a template, wherein a preparation border is determined at the level of a height of contour, while the teeth are described as objects required to prepare a crown. Further, the template is milled from transparent ash-free plastic. After the milling procedure, the template is cut in half and used as a press mould for making the restoration with a composite material polymerised with a lamp through the transparent surface of the template.

EFFECT: method enables accurate transmission of the modelled occlusal dental surface ensured by using the articulator adjusted individually with using the face bow and axiography findings, and the method of milling.
