FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tertiary treatment of whatever partially fit drinking water. Proposed device has one lengthwise vessel accommodating water freezing zone with annular freezing chamber, zone of impurity displacement from ice front and impurity concentration in the form of brine, zone of water transfer from solid state into liquid state with annular heating element , separate branch pipes to discharge brine and melt drinking water arranged at vessel bottom, device to drive frozen water rod made up of ring with threaded inner surface and toothed rotation drive on outer surface, as well as disengaging gear made up of tube with circular cutting section. Frozen core drive is composed by driven screws arranged in the vessel wall openings along vessel edges. Water cleaner has two to six screws arranged symmetrically about vessel lengthwise axis.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality of water cleaning.
