SUBSTANCE: titanium-base alloy contains the following, wt %: aluminium 4.7- 6.3, vanadium 1.0-1.9, molybdenum 0.7-2.0, carbon 0.06-0.14, zirconium 0.02-0.10, oxygen 0.06-0.13, silicon 0.02-0.12, iron 0.05-0.25, ruthenium 0.05-0.14, titanium is the rest when the following ratio is met: [O2]+[Si]+[Fe]≤0.40.
EFFECT: alloy has increased resistance to gap and pit corrosion in corrosive media.
