FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to cast welded titanium-based alloys having high corrosion resistance to slot and pitting corrosion in aggressive media, and can be used for production of shaped castings such as pumps bodies and valves, used in elements of equipment of offshore equipment, responsible welded-cast structures of shipbuilding, chemical industry. Ti based alloy contains in % by weight: aluminum 3.0–4.5, carbon 0.02–0.10, oxygen 0.05–0.10, iron 0.02–0.10, silicon 0.02–0.10, vanadium 0.02–0.15, ruthenium 0.05–0.14, titanium and impurities – the rest, with observing the following ratio: 2(V+Fe+Si)/Al≤0.20.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high corrosion resistance and manufacturability, and also has good casting properties and a complex of mechanical properties ensuring reliability during operation of articles in aggressive corrosive medium with high salt content of NaCl, pH>2½ and at temperature of up to 250 °C.
