FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: titanium-based jewellery alloy containing the following, wt %, is proposed: aluminium 3.5-5.0, vanadium 1.2-2.5, zirconium 0.01-0.30, silicon 0.2-0.10, iron 0.05-0.15, oxygen 0.03-0.12, hydrogen 0.001-0.006, nitrogen 0.01-0.03, carbon 0.02-0.10, ruthenium 0.05-0.14, titanium is the rest. Alloy has increased stability against crevice and pitting corrosion in corrosive media with temperature of up to 250°C, increased salt content of 3.5% NaCl and pH=2.5-4.0.
EFFECT: increasing stability against crevice and pitting corrosion of the proposed alloy will allow increasing the service life of components of the equipment operated in corrosive media.
