FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: titanium-based alloys with increased corrosion resistance against crevice and pitting corrosion in aqueous coolants with a high salt content of 3.5% NaCl, pH>2.5 and temperatures up to 250°C. Titanium-based alloy containing, wt.%: aluminum 3.5-5.0, carbon 0.02-010, oxygen 0.05-0.10, iron 0.02-0.10, silicon 0, 02-0.10, vanadium 1.5-2.5, ruthenium 0.10-0.20, hydrogen 0.002-0.008, titanium - the rest, subject to the following conditions Ru/(Al+V)≥0.015.
EFFECT: increased corrosion resistance and manufacturability. The alloy also has good casting properties and a set of mechanical properties that ensure reliability in the operation of products in an aggressive corrosive environment with a high salt content of 3.5% NaCl, pH>2.5 and temperatures up to 250°C.
