FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: utilisation method of organochlorine wastes involves their supply with blasting air to a combustion zone of a shaft-type furnace and thermal decomposition with further passage through charge materials. In addition, chlorine-binding additives in quantity of 50-75 kg per ton of molten cast iron are added to initial charge at maintaining viscosity of molten slag of 0.2-0.5 Ns/m2. Calcium compounds are used as chlorine-binding additives. Lime, calcium silicate or dolomite are used as chlorine-binding additives.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing efficiency of a waste utilisation method and reducing noxious emissions.
