FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to blast-furnace production, more specifically to injection of combined blasting, including injection of high flow rates of natural gas into the hearth of a blast furnace, and can be used in smelting of pig iron and foundry iron. Charge materials and coke are loaded into the furnace, combined blasting is blown, control of theoretical combustion temperature (TCT), determination of temperature of melting products and viscosity of final slag at different temperatures. Wherein melting is carried out with consumption of natural gas of 140–250 m3/t of cast iron. Theoretical combustion temperature is controlled in range of 1,650–2,100 °C, and when the theoretical combustion temperature is lower than 1,900 °C, the viscosity of the final slag is reduced by 0.002–0.015 Pa∙s for each 50 °C of the TCT.

EFFECT: higher coefficient of replacement of coke with natural gas and reduced consumption of coke in blast-furnace smelting while maintaining efficiency of blast furnace.
