FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: sensor has a housing inside of which there is a fibre-optic sensitive element capable of changing properties of radiation propagating in a light guide depending on deformation. A pusher transfers displacement of the controlled object to the sensitive element and passes through the wall of the housing or is the wall of the housing. The sensor facilitates combined action on the sensitive element through the pusher and an optically controlled element, which can be deformed under the action of incident optical radiation.

EFFECT: providing remote inspection of metrological intactness of a sensor, wider measurement range, improved performance.
