FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: measurement device includes a measuring converter (MW) at least partially placed into a grounded body (100) for registration of at least one measured parameter, and also an electronic unit (ME) of the measurement device at least periodically electrically connected with the measuring converter. The electronic unit (ME) of the measurement device has at least one measuring channel for registration and further processing of at least one primary signal (s1) generated by means of the measuring converter, and also a circuit (20B) for current measurement to record electric currents flowing inside the measurement device. Further it is provisioned that the circuit for current measurement in process of operation at least periodically, in particular, from time to time, records the electric current (I1) of leakage, which flows as a result of potential difference (AU12) that at least periodically available between the body and the electronic unit of the measurement device, and also an electroconductive connection (RF) also available between the body and electronic unit of the measurement device, in particular, unwanted and/or formed by means of a deposit on the body. With account of the recorded leakage current the electronic unit of the measurement device further generates at least one digital parameter (Z) of the condition that represents, in particular, a wrong working condition of the measurement device at this moment of time.
EFFECT: improvement of verification of working conditions or operational safety of electric instruments of above type.
