FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: one of samples of rectangular shape is fixed on the cylindrical surface of the drum, and the other sample is with one end on the plate with a strain sensor, and with the second end in the clamp with the weight, providing for pressure, covering the drum, imitating conditions of interaction of textile webs during usage of clothes. Force of tangential resistance is fixed with a strain sensor.
EFFECT: higher validity and objectivity of assessment of a force of friction of textile webs due to approach of testing conditions to forces of manufacturing and usage of clothes.
