SUBSTANCE: with this purpose the summary signal in the receiving channel of the discrete antenna is memorised, and its time scale is transformed. To control the time scale, a signal of structural noise is used, which is generated by a dominant source of vibration from the number of machines and mechanisms located on a carrier vessel of a discrete hydroacoustic antenna. As a result of time scale transformation, a component of the summary signal is compressed, which is specified by operation of the source of structural noise, and this makes it possible to suppress its impact by means of subtraction from the summary signal. Reverse transformation of the time scale results in restoration of parameters of the desired signal in the receiving signal of the discrete antenna and provides for the possibility of its usage for subsequent processing. Introduction of additional operations, the main of which is reverse transformation of time scale, makes it possible to increase noise immunity of reception of hydroacoustic signals carried out with the help of multi-element directional systems. The main advantage of the proposed method of data processing in the receiving channel of the discrete antenna consists in provision of noise signal suppression when its spectrum and spectrum of the total noise are concentrated in the total range of frequencies.
EFFECT: higher noise immunity of measurements of total noise parameters with usage of a multi-element antenna.
