SUBSTANCE: device for oral care is proposed, in particular a toothbrush, comprising a head and a plurality of tooth cleaning elements supported by the head of the toothbrush. The tooth cleaning elements preferably comprise elastomeric polishing element comprising a raised recess for retaining the device for cleaning teeth located at a distance above the toothbrush head, at that the polishing element comprises a plurality of Y-shaped polishing links. In another version of the device the toothbrush comprises also a bristle element located at least inside the elastomeric element. Another version of the device discloses a toothbrush comprising a plurality of bristle elements attached to the front cleaning part. The preferred version of the recess include partially or completely the closed lower part for containing and minimising loss of the dentifrice during cleaning.
