FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for obtaining glassy substance of non-stoichiometric composition. Electrochemical column contains system of two heated under high-voltage bath- zones, which are filled with high-temperature liquid from glass-forming multi-component mixture. In one of the baths (anode, the plus one) placed is anode, which has rods-electrodes, in the second (cathode the minus one) placed is cathode with it rods-electrodes, the latter being in conjugation with the 1-st type conductor, bath-zones are separated from each other withelecton- permeable solid walls with formation of space intervals-clearances. In column baths are placed by type of coaxial circuit (one in another), which larger bath with anode encompassing smaller bath with cathode, with additional rods-electrons being located throughout the perimeter of large anode bath in zones of space from the sides an above the contour, and with rods-electrons being placed in three-dimensional way throughout the bath zone in semisphere-shaped form of "hedgehog"-fan in cathode bath. Electrodes of cathode zone are placed to closer electrode of anode zone towards or angularly to them, and in order to create additional external electromagnetic field embracing baths are placed on external side surfaces of coaxial system and made in form of tiers of alternating magnetic poles.
EFFECT: increase of device productivity.
