FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a housing with a longitudinal slot for a rod and with a drive. On side walls of the housing there are combined passages. A rod fastener is installed in the passages. The drive is made in the form of a hydraulic jack and at least two hydraulic cylinders. The latter are hydraulically connected to the hydraulic jack. The hydraulic jack axis interacting with the rod fastener is located perpendicular to the longitudinal rod axis. Stocks of hydraulic cylinders are installed so that they can interact with a drill crown edge and are located parallel to the longitudinal rod axis. Such configuration of the device improves operating reliability and provides work safety.
EFFECT: device improves efficiency of work relating to removal of seized drill crowns and reduces risk of injury at performance of the same work.
