FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: plunger-free engine comprises one cylinder. The latter accommodates two opposed pistons with rod. It comprises also spark-plugs and linear generator. The latter comprises stator winding fitted in said cylinder. Besides, said engine comprises common intake manifold, individual intake manifolds, common exhaust gas manifold, individual exhaust manifolds, spark-plugs and control system. In compliance with this invention, control system comprises control unit and piston position transducer. Every timing system is composed of spring-loaded intake and discharge valves including seta and rod and fitted in cylinders heads and hydraulic pushers fitted at valve shaft ends and connected via pipelines with hydraulic control valve. The latter is electrically connected with control unit whereto connected is the piston position transducer. Cylinder has two coaxial walls for coolant to flow there between.
EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency.
