FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: rod check valve includes saddle and shut-off element. Shut-off element is made in the form of cylinder with hole for rod, the bottom part of which has spherical shape and consists of two parts tied up round the rod via studs. The saddle has truncated cone shape and together with bush located at the bottom end of the casing string it makes up a whole.
EFFECT: valve structure simplification, possibility to switch the valve into open position from the surface for provision of direct flushing of down-hole pumping equipment, provision of its wedging without down-hole pumping equipment lifting.
