FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: program and actual position of mechanization element are defined at turbine rotor constant rpm to measure pressure pulsations by transducers arranged downstream of intake area. Results of measurements are used to calculate wavelet factors of different level and mean square deviations (MSD) of said factors by comparing said deviations obtained in preliminary tests with their critical values. With MSD reaching critical level, critical position of mechanization element is defined to calculate stability margin as the difference between program and critical positions of said element.

EFFECT: definition of stability margins, faster flight tests.
