EVALUATION OF AMBIGUITY OF GNSS SIGNALS FOR THREE OR MORE CARRIERS Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC G01S5/14

Abstract RU 2503970 C2

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: geometric filter is applied to a set of data of a GNSS signal with usage of a geometric combination of carrier phases to produce an array of estimates of ambiguity for geometric combination of carrier phases and the appropriate statistic information. A bank of ionospheric filters is applied to a set of data of a GNSS signal with usage of an ionospheric combination of carrier phases that does not depend on geometry to produce an array of estimates of ambiguity for the ionospheric combination of carrier phases and the appropriate statistic information. At least one code filter is applied to a set of data of a GNSS signal with usage of a totality of combinations of carrier codes, which do not depend on geometry and do not depend on ionosphere, to produce the array of estimates of ambiguity for combinations of carrier codes and the appropriate statistic information. The produced arrays are combined to produce a combined array of ambiguity estimates for all observations of the carrier phase and the appropriate statistic information.

EFFECT: increased speed of determination of ambiguity of GNSS signals.
