SUBSTANCE: method involves generating first improved image data by correcting first image data using a white balance correction value which corresponds to a flash light; generating second improved image data by correcting first image data using a second white balance correction value corresponding to external light; calculating the compound coefficient of each block based on the flash component and external light component of each of the blocks into which first image data are divided, and combining the first improved image data and second improved image data in accordance with the calculated compound coefficient.

EFFECT: forming an image which achieves suitable hue even when a flash light is emitted.
