SUBSTANCE: device generates data of a first improved image by correcting image data using a first white balance correcting value corresponding to a first light source, generates data of a second improved image by correcting image data using a second white balance correcting value corresponding to a second light source, calculates a colour estimate value for each unit by adding and averaging pixel colour estimate values in image data for each of separated unit, calculates the combination ratio based on the difference between the calculated colour estimate value for each unit and the white colour estimate value for the second light source, and combines data of the first improved image and data of the second improved image according to the calculated combination ratio.

EFFECT: correcting white balance while selecting the suitable hue, even in the presence of multiple light sources.
