SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transformable furniture, namely, devices for sitting and lying, primarily sofas that can be transformed into a bed and vice versa, and is aimed at minimising the number of structural elements and the reduction of total overall weight of the device. The transformable frame of the sofa-bed comprises a backrest frame and a seat frame. The backrest frame and the seat frame each contain a pair of side walls and connecting bars attached to them, fastening each of the pairs of the side walls, the backrest and pairs of side walls of the seat, and forming the front and rear seat frames and the upper and lower backrest frames. The side walls of the seat and the side walls of the backrest are interconnected crosswise with the ability to rotate. The side wall of the seat is made in the form of a front and rear parts located at an angle to each other. The side wall of the backrest is made in the form of an upper and lower parts located at an angle to each other.
