FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, and is intended for control of correctness of placement of artificial teeth in prostheses relative to reference points on skull and face. Gypsum model of jaw is preliminarily plastered into articulator in accordance with selected anatomical reference points. Model which is removed from articulator is installed with formed in articulator base on horizontal table top. Photography of lower model of jaw, from right and left, is carried out by means of digital photo camera. Photography of upper model of jaw is carried out from right, left and front. Images are downloaded into computer. Measurements are carried out by means of software Photoshop CS, in which dentition parameters are fixed by means of instrument "ruler", initial parameters of gypsum model dentition are stored in computer memory. Control of dentition parameters on wax model and finished prosthesis is performed on gypsum model. Results of control are compared with initial data in computer memory.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to control dentition modelling outside patient's oral cavity at any stage of modelling orthopedic construction of dental prosthesis due to application of digital photo camera and taken with it pictures of dentitions and application of any of conventional skull planes, taken for starting reference points.
