SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to a method for fixing a central jaw relation. Plastic bases with wax rolls are made on the plaster model of the upper and lower jaws. After the final adjustment in the oral cavity in height and vestibular oval, the wax rolls are replaced with plastic rolls, wherein the vestibular oval and the occlusal plane of the lower roll exactly correspond to the oval and plane of the roll on the upper jaw with the possibility of uniform planar contact of the upper and lower rolls when they are closed. Lower roll is configured to orient the artificial teeth when they are placed on the upper jaw exactly along the vestibular perimeter on the occlusal plane of the lower plastic roll. Then the occlusal surface of the rolls is roughened with the help of emery paper, the plastic rollers are fixed in the mouth in the central occlusion with the help of a light-cured composite; reference lines are applied and the bases with the rolls are transferred onto the plaster models for subsequent fixation in the articulator.
EFFECT: more accurate and stable fixation of the edentulous jaws in the central occlusion is achieved taking into account the individual characteristics of the dentoalveolar system of the patient and reducing the time for making removable dentures due to setting the artificial teeth of the upper jaw on the plastic roll of the lower jaw, which replaces the manufactured gypsum table with glass on the lower frame of the articulator.
