INTERACTIVE DEVICE OF PERSON'S CARRIAGE CORRECTION AND METHOD OF CARRIAGE CORRECTION Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61F5/00 A61B5/11 A63B23/02

Abstract RU 2504350 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, pediatrics, neurosurgery, as well as neuropathology, and is intended for performing correction and prevention of functional impairment of carriage by informing user about unacceptable change of their spine position in sagittal or frontal plane in order to develop in user experience of correct carriage, thus contributing to treatment of orthopedic diseases and mobile deformations of spine. Interactive device of person/s carriage correction contains, at least, one optic sensor of deformation, connected with system of control and processing of information and system of indication of information processing results via channels of communication, and fastening system, intended for fastening device components on person. Optic sensor of deformation is made flexible in form of longitudinal plate. Length of sensor constitutes the value not less than length of three adjacent vertebrae on controlled section of person/s spine, but not more than length of unidirectional curvature of person's trunk or spine. Width of optic sensor of deformation is less than width of interscapulum. Method of carriage correction consists in the following: elements of interactive device for person's carriage correction are fastened on patient. Setting of maximally permissible values of spine curvature is carried out in system of control and processing of information. Type of alarm signal is selected. After that, values of spine curvature are registered by means of optic sensor of deformation, registered values of spine curvature are compared with maximally permissible values and, in case if registered values of spine curvature are higher than maximally permissible values, alarm signal is formed and transmitted. In the process of fastening elements of interactive device of person's carriage correction optic sensor of deformation is installed in the place of controlled part of spine and pressed to it, plane of correction of assessed curvature of person's spine must be perpendicular to medium surface of plate of optic sensor of deformation. Registration of spine curvature values, performed by one sensor of deformation must be carried out on section with length not shorter than length of three adjacent vertebrae on controlled section, but not longer than length of unidirectional curvature.

EFFECT: increased convenience of exploitation, increased accuracy of measurements and reliability of device operation aimed at increase of therapeutic effect, aimed at efficient training of patient for prevention and treatment of incorrect carriage, as well as sagittal and/or frontal mobile deformation of spine.
