FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: wind-driven power plant includes a supporting tower, a wind wheel, an electric unit nacelle, a turning base equipped with a wind flow orientation device made in the form of a shank of a twin-fin scheme of vertical tail unit. Fins are fixed in end sections of a stabiliser located on the turning base. Each fan consists of a pair of elements with similar dimensions and with similar asymmetric profiles with constant chord throughout the length; besides, elements are installed relative to each other at an angle and with a gap forming a shaped slot. Elements are rigidly fixed along edges.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of turning the plane of a wind wheel with a horizontal rotation axis relative to its vertical rotation axis at a low speed of incoming flow under conditions of maximum deceleration of wind flow velocity after rotation plane of the wind wheel at easy structure of a wind orientation device and its efficiency.
