SUBSTANCE: proposed composite joint comprises tire bead ledge and lock ring clamping axial position of tire relative to wheel centre. Note here that rectangular grooves are made on wheel centre male surface with axis parallel with tire axis. Rectangular inserts are fitted in said grooves that feature OD equal to male surface and elastic elements in contact with groove base. Note here that insert length and width make about 0.8 and 0.2 of wheel centre width. Total area of outer surfaces of inserts makes 30-35% of rated area of joint conjugation area. Note here that inserts alternate. Joint interference is created by compression forces of insert elastic elements. Note here that areas of conjugation between inserts and tire are created to add resistance against tire slip at wheel centre.
EFFECT: transmission of larger torque.
