FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: setup includes a base, specimen grips installed on it, an elastic element connected to one of the grips, a pusher connected to the elastic element, a slide connected to the pusher and a slide back-and-forth movement drive. In addition, the setup includes two guides fixed on the slide parallel to each other and to pusher movement direction on different sides from it, a multilink hinge made of a row of in-series located links and arranged between the guides so that one extreme link is hinged to the slide, the second extreme link is hinged to the pusher, and electromagnets installed on hinges of intermediate links with possibility of selective interaction with the guides.

EFFECT: improving informativity of investigations by providing investigations at stepped change of margins of load fluctuations in cycles during tests at any point of the cycle both with increase and decrease of load level, at long-acting constant loads with stepped change of their level at the specified moment, as well as at multicycle stepped loadings of a specimen with and without smooth change of total load level fluctuations.
