FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to testing equipment, to strength tests. Plant for mechanical tests of material specimens at cyclic loading includes base with guide, passive and active grippers of specimen installed coaxially to the guide and cyclic loading mechanism including power spring coaxial to the guide, one end of which is connected to active gripper, pusher connected to the other end of spring, slide to interact with pusher, slide drive with eccentric, and inertia load fixed on pusher. At that, eccentric is made in the form of electromagnet with adjustable attraction force and installed with possibility of electromagnetic interaction with slide, and slide is made from electromagnetic material and rigidly attached to pusher.

EFFECT: increasing amount of information by providing investigations at adjustment of amplitude of cyclic load during tests at loading with constant and damping amplitudes.
