SUBSTANCE: information processing device is configured to: display a menu comprising a first menu item associated with a first program and a second menu item associated with a second program; display on a screen a window with the display object which is part of a first display region passing along a first direction, with superposition on a first background image; upon receiving from the user commands for determining the direction along the first direction in a state of displaying a window with the display object, moving the window with the display object in the first display region in accordance with the given direction without changing the position of displaying the first background image; and displaying a predetermined window of a second display region passing along the first direction, with superposition on a second background image, carried out upon receiving from the user commands for determining the direction along a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction, irrespective of the displacement or non-displacement of the window with the display object.

EFFECT: viewing each display element situated in a display region, each having a size larger than that of the screen by switching display of multiple display regions.
