FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: biostimulant of growth of cucurbits and vegetable crops represents a solution containing a low-molecular chitosan with a molecular weight of 10-25 kDa, 0.5-1% aqueous solution of lactic acid and milk whey. According to the proposed method of the biostimulant production the chitin of crustaceans is deacetylated with 45% sodium hydroxide solution at irrigation module of 1:10 and high-molecular chitosan is obtained. The chitosan obtained is washed with water to pH=7, dried with a convective method and fractionated by sieving. Then it is dissolved in 0.2 M acetate buffer, and the hydrolysis is performed with the enzyme preparation papain with the concentration of 0.3-0.5% or the enzyme preparation protosubtilin with the concentration of 2-3%, and the resulting low-molecular chitosan is precipitated with a molecular weight of 10-25 kDa with the 10% sodium hydroxide solution. It is washed with tap water to pH 8 and dried to a residual humidity of 8-10%. The resulting low-molecular chitosan is dissolved in 0.5-1% solution of lactic acid and milk whey is added.

EFFECT: increase in germinating energy and germinating ability of seeds, increase in productivity of cucurbits and vegetable crops.
