FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: knee joint mechanism comprises an upper bearing head with a hip cage holder, a lower bearing arm with a shin tube holder, a kinematic chain coupling, at least two axes of rotation, as well as a shin shutter. The kinematic chain coupling is presented in the form of a lugged fork coupled with the upper bearing head by the first axis of rotation. The upper bearing head rests against the kinematic chain coupling. The second axis of rotation is placed inside loop eyes of the lower bearing arm covering the kinematic chain coupling and coupled therewith by the second axis of rotation. The upper bearing head comprises rotation fixators about the second axis of rotation interacting with rests provided on the loop eyes of the lower bearing arm. The lugs of the kinematic chain coupling interact with projecting areas on the upper bearing head. The first axis of rotation is displaced in relation to a load line with the vertical position of the lower bearing arm to the back side of the knee joint. The shin shutter is connected to the upper bearing head on one side, and fixed on the lower bearing arm on the other side from the shin tube holder.
EFFECT: improving the ergonomic characteristics of the prosthesis, providing a greater walking stability.
