SINGLE-WORM EXTRUDER Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC B29C47/38

Abstract RU 2505401 C2

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: single-worm extruder with cylinder has smelting zone and homogenisation zone abutting thereon. Worm is arranged inside said cylinder to rotate therein and comprises two working elements arranged in homogenisation zone, one of them making a shear element is arranged in feed direction. At least one groove is made at cylinder inner wall in homogenisation zone, in lengthwise direction, to terminate, if seen in feed direction, in zone between first working element and second shear element.

EFFECT: better smelting, lower temperature of smelting and increased pressure effects.
