SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to fluid flow sensor and to method of determination of flow rate in linear flow channel. Flow sensor can comprises fluid chamber, moving magnet arranged therein, stationary magnet covering said chamber and at least one sensor arranged around said chamber to define moving magnet position therein. Method of determining fluid flow rate in linear flow channels comprises placing first magnet in liner flow channel, arranging permanent second magnet around said channel, forcing fluid flow there through to define magnetic field around first magnet to determine fluid flow rate proceeding from definite magnetic field.

EFFECT: possibility for measurements in wide range of viscosities, higher reliability, safe feedback and ease of cleaning.
