FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: method of detecting radio-frequency radiation in the near field of a source is intended to detect concealed instalment of radio-frequency radiation sources in a secure territory using a detector operating in static mode. The antenna system of the detector consists of three mutually orthogonal sensors of the electrical component of the field and three mutually orthogonal sensors of the magnetic component of the field. Data from outputs of the sensors are used to form a set of nine inter-component correlation signals, from which the output signal and threshold signal of the detector are obtained using two different transformations.
EFFECT: improved characteristics of a detector of concealed radio-frequency radiation sources in conditions with noise in form of signals of remote radio-frequency radiation sources and prior uncertainty with respect to carrier frequency of the unknown source.
