FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and means of radio and electronic reconnaissance, based on the use of spaced N field sensors. Each pair of signals Sn(t) and Sm(t) from the outputs of the n-th and m-th field sensors (n, m = 1,2,…,N) is converted into a pair of signals Xnm(t) and Ynm(t) at the outputs of the respective corner discriminators, Xnm(t) and Ynm(t) signals are delayed by duration τ useful radio pulses, and the output signal U(t) of the detector is formed by summing the amplitudes Anm(t) and Bnm(t) difference signals respectively ΔXnm(t)=Xnm(t)-Xnm(t-τ) and ΔYnm(t)=Ynm(t)-Ynm(t-τ): U(t)=ΣnΣm[Anm(t)+Bnm(t)]; n, m=1,2,…,N, m < n.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of decisions made on finding the source of useful radio pulses.
