FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: rotor for a high-revolution electrical machine has a shaft, a magnetic system with permanent magnets and a cylindrical nonmagnetic ring encircling their outer surface and which prevents centrifugal movement of the magnetic system. The shaft has a regular polygon-shaped cross-section at the vertices of which there are rectangular grooves. The walls of the grooves are parallel to their planes of symmetry which pass through the axis of rotation of the rotor. The nonmagnetic ring has protrusions on its inner cylindrical surface which are situated in the grooves of the shaft without clearance. When the structure is operating at high rotational frequencies, movements of the ring and magnets are aligned by lateral faces of the protrusions.
EFFECT: improved reliability and technological effectiveness, improved energy characteristics of the electrical machine owing to further increase of its rotational frequency.
