FIELD: electromechanical engineering; electrical machines with permanent-magnet rotor. SUBSTANCE: rotor has magnetic core carrying alternating-polarity permanent magnets sectionalized by means of planes crossing axis of its revolution, each section being provided with pole shoes. Nonmagnetic gaps are provided between permanent-magnet sections with pole shoes to receive holding members locked on one end in magnetic core and on other, tightly abutting against surfaces of bevels made on external ribs of pole shoes. Thrusts set up during rotor motion are imparted through holding members to magnetic core. EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability at high speed, enlarged speed control range, reduced size and mass of rotor. 5 cl, 2 dwg
