FIELD: electromechanical engineering; electrical machines with permanent-magnet rotor. SUBSTANCE: rotor has magnetic core assembled of uniformly alternating magnetic and nonmagnetic circular laminations that mounts permanent magnets with pole shoes provided with gaps inbetween. Outer surface of pole shoes has annular grooves accommodating nonmagnetic band in the form of rings connected through jumpers disposed in gaps to nonmagnetic circular laminations. Rings are built integral with jumpers and nonmagnetic circular laminations and permanent magnets are sectionalized which makes it possible to transfer thrusts built up during rotor motion to magnetic core. EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability, enlarged speed control range, reduced mass and size of rotor. 3 cl, 3 dwg
