FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly reconstructive hand surgery. The method implies two oblique radial osteotomies in a sagittal plane at an angle to a long bone axes in the opposite direction at a distance from each other equal to a desired length of an autograft. The osteotomy planes are combined thereby forming an autogenous bone. An edge triangular defect formed after the autogenous bone has been sampled, is replaced by a cortical autogenous bone in the form of an irregular rhombus with sharp and extended ends to be integrated in the proximal and distal direction from the defect. The autogenous bone is placed on the rib so that its extended portion is at the level of the narrowest segment of the radial bone, while a side surface is tangent to the bone defect.
EFFECT: method provides increasing the strength of the radial bone and reducing the traumatic donor area when sampling the autogenous bone.
