FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to crane operation safety. In control over crane hook swing, deflection angle and hook rope swing direction are defined in horizontal plane relative to gravity. Note here that deflection angle represents a transverses deflection angle. Deflection angle increase over preset magnitude is recorded. In case deflection angle exceeds preset magnitude, rotary table is turned in direction of swing to measure rotary speed and rotary table angular acceleration and to compare measured values with tolerable standard magnitudes. In case measure magnitudes exceed tolerable magnitudes, both magnitudes are controlled so that these are brought in compliance specifications.
