SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for detection of hook position. The device to detect position of a hook comprises a tool for measurement of the angle between the axis in the second system of coordinates and appropriate axis in the first system of coordinates, a meter of acceleration to measure acceleration of the hook in the specified direction, a processor to create the first system of coordinates and the second system of coordinates and a discharge device. The first system of coordinates is connected with the specified location, and the second system of coordinates is connected to the hook. The processor receives parameters of hook position in the first system of coordinates in accordance with the angle measured by the tool for angle measurement, and acceleration measured by the acceleration meter. The operator is capable to take proper actions to stabilise the hook in accordance with the position parameters. The invention also relates to the crane with the device of hook position detection.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of crane operation.
