FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of navigation of an aircraft (AC) and may be used to correct navigation systems of the AC by speed, coordinates and course. For this purpose they fix two adjacent moments of time of laser radiation reception by a receiver installed on the AC outside its longitudinal axis and calculation of the AC speed by the formula: where l1 and l2 - distance between the laser reference point and the AC receiver calculated at the moments of time t1 and t2 accordingly; AB1 and AB2 - angles of laser beam rotation counted from the direction to the north to the line where the laser beam meets the receiver calculated at the moments of time t1 and t2 accordingly; Δt - time gap between moments of time t1 and t2, defined as Δt=t2-t1.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of correction of an AC navigation system by course, coordinates and speed.
