FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to precision instrument making and may be applied to determine density and viscosity of gaseous and liquid media and may be used in petrochemical, chemical and other industries. A sensor of a vibration densimeter comprises a body, a hollow cylindrical resonator fixed in it and washed from outside and inside and having a flange with a tight cylindrical cavity for piezoelements separated from the monitored medium and installed in the cavity of the resonator's flange. The circular groove on the inner surface of the cylindrical resonator is made in the zone of the flange. The distance from the surface of placement of piezoelements exciting or receiving frequency to the groove is equal to or less than the thickness of the resonator tube shell. The width of the circular bore is equal or more than the thickness of the tube. At the outer side of the flange cylinder from the plane of coupling of the resonator tube ends and the flange there is a continuous bore. The distance from the plane of the piezoelement placement surface to the plane formed by a continuous bore at the end of the flange is equal to or less than the thickness of the tube shell, and the depth is equal to or is more than the thickness of the flange cavity cylinder shell.

EFFECT: reduced mechanical link of a flange with a resonator tube, which makes it possible to increase good quality of a resonator and densimeter accuracy.
