FIELD: gyroscopy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gyroscopy; it can be used in design and production of a wave solid gyroscope with a metal resonator, operating in a mode of an angular velocity sensor. The wave solid gyroscope consists of a metal resonator with piezo-elements glued to a bottom, having a shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with the ratio of sides of 25÷33:9÷12:1, and a massive base. At the same time, the metal resonator is made with conical walls at an angle of 8°÷8°30' along an outer diameter, with the ratio of a cone height to a resonator height of 0.552÷0.557:1, with the ratio of the outer diameter to the resonator height and its bottom thickness of 32÷35:25÷27:1, and a thickness of an upper edge is 0.9÷1 mm. The resonator is attached to the massive base of the gyroscope, using two consoles, a mounting hole in the form of a cylinder, and transition holes made in the form of fillets. For resonator balancing, holes are drilled on the upper edge of the resonator in a number of 16, and holes are located on the edge in every 22.5°.
EFFECT: increase in resistance to vibrational impacts in the frequency range of 10-2500 Hz, sensitivity to the measured angular velocity, signal/noise ratio.
