SUBSTANCE: invention relates to providing users with special services, such as colour ring back tone (CRBT data). A user defines a multimedia CRBT data resource block and sets the rule for reproducing the multimedia CRBT data resource block. Media data are then matched in accordance with the type of the media data of the multimedia CRBT data resource block, followed by selection of multimedia CRBT data from the resource block in accordance with the rule for reproducing the multimedia CRBT data set by the user, and reproduction thereof for the called party when using the multimedia CRBT data service.
EFFECT: enabling the user to define the multimedia CRBT data resource block and set the rule for reproducing multimedia CRBT data, as well as select multimedia CRBT data from the resource block and reproduction thereof in accordance with the rule for reproducing multimedia CRBT data when using the multimedia CRBT data service.
