SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an edging saw and belt equipment for use with the edging saw. The edging saw comprises a power unit, such as an internal combustion engine for actuating the edging saw, the belt equipment which is attached to the power unit, a rod construction attached to the belt equipment. The rod construction comprises a lower rod attached to the belt equipment, the upper rod attached to the lower rod. The upper rod and the lower rod are detachably mounted relative to each other. The edging saw comprises a tube with a tool such as a cutting element head with a working element attached to the cutting element head, a wire located between the rod construction and the tube adapted for moving the tool weight onto the back of the operator. The wire is attached to the upper rod and not attached to the lower rod.

EFFECT: in this implementation the operating conditions of the saw and its dismantling for storage and transportation is improved.
