FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for production of seal rings intended for fabrication of a wide range of assembly units and parts including aircraft gas turbine engines. Profile bar of austenitic steels and nickel alloys is bent to ring. Ring ends are welded. Said ring billet is subjected to cold deformation of at least 0.4 to produce a flat ring.
EFFECT: seal rings with minimum machining allowance and maximum mechanical and thermal properties.
