FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in production of disc rotor of axial compressor of compact gas turbine engine. Billets of the disc and shaft with the structure prepared for formation of physical contact between them are pre-connected to produce a composite workpiece. Performing isothermal deformation of composite billet by means of deforming tool at least on billet of disc on side of its both end surfaces. At that, two cylindrical punches are used, having openings for shaft blank arrangement in them with clearance. Dies are pressed into the disc workpiece at least on the side facing the zone of connection with the shaft billet. Wall thickness of each die a≥b, where b is thickness of disc blank. Gap between dies and workpiece shaft is selected not more than 0.25 a.
EFFECT: higher quality of disc and shaft workpiece connection.
