FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ultrasound blasting of gas turbine engine parts including hard-to-access area as the groove composed by blade hook and foot section connected therewith. Gas turbine engine blade hook and foot section surface are blasted by balls in the chamber. Said chambers covers completely the hook including the part of its surface external relative to said groove. One of chamber walls is composed of the surface of blade foot on hook side.
EFFECT: higher hardness.
